- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆January 11, 2020, by Dru LeaTerrible service. Stayed in store 30+ minutes after asking for specific help in a dept multiple times. No help at all! Went home & ordered from Amazon. Easy a 1-2-3! Continue w this type of service... & brick & mortar store will end sooner rather than later. Hey...Management, Wake-up! When you & your retail employees loose your jobs b/c of the closing of stores...you will know why!
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆March 16, 2019, by Robby MckeyThis is one of the worst experiences that I have ever had with Lowes. I had to return a saw blade that I had mistakenly got in the wrong size a couple months ago, and I was going to also purchase a circular saw. The way they have all of the tools laid out is organized yet it is very annoying to locate things compared to other locations that I've been in. The lady at customer service was kind when I first came in to return the saw blade. My cashier was kind when I checked out. When I got to my car, I opened the circular saw box to discover that the circular saw was used, covered in Sawdust, and the included saw blade was missing. So I went back inside to the lady that was my cashier and she advised me to go to customer service. I had paid for the saw with my debit card and Yet the woman insisted that she just give me the portions that I had paid for the sauce back on another gift card and the rest of it in cash since I had paid cash. I paid with my debit card. I asked her if I could go and grab another one so I could be on my way but she told me that customer service does not do exchanges. I very promptly I started that she works in the customer service department which is the area that people tend to have the job description of assisting the customers with their issues. Apparently, this lady did not get the memo on the procedures that usually take place within the customer service department and proceeded to have an attitude towards me because I was frustrated that she was taking up yet even more of my time for no good reason. So then I had to navigate my way back to the other side of the store to locate the circular saw that I had trouble finding the first time around. So, then I arrived back at checkout to a different cashier this time. I calmly, but obviously I was frustrated, mentioned the customer service lady and the way that she had handled my situation. I told the cashier that I was hoping that I wouldn't get back out to my car to open this box to find that it had just been resealed like the last one. She assured me that it had not been opened. I commented that the other box didn't look like it had been opened either to which she responded by saying that there is no way to repackage it to where it wouldn't be noticeable and that the tape would leave residue or tear the paper. I kindly informed her that with the use of a heat gun or a hair dryer, the tape will actually come off just like a cell phone screen does without much residue, and then the residue can be removed as well with small portions of acetone or nail polish remover. Then she accusingly tells me that I sound like I'm pretty good I doing all of that and I must be pretty experienced in doing that type of thing. I am formed her that I also work for a companies that has to double-check things because of people repackaging them to the point that they look like they have never been opened before. She then told me that if somebody is going to go through all of that then they can just have it and I said I guess but it doesn't make it right. I made sure to tell her I hope she has a good day as pleasantly as possible to which I got a response of her saying oh I will and I hope you have a good day as well, in a very scolding fashion. My main issue here it's not just the attitude and laziness towards doing your whole job. My big issue is that both the cashier and customer service woman acted as though I was the one who did something wrong, when in fact, somebody in customer service did not do their job properly by not inspecting a returned item thoroughly and I caught them for their prior mistake. I won't judge all of this locations employees by the two that I had an issue with today. I will even try to give this location another shot in the near future. I do hope that these people send possibly get a nice Class or maybe a reiteration meetings of how customer service should be handled.
