  I had loose DC port (power input). Via my own eyes and web research I knew this was case. Later had it confirmed in 5 seconds via some skilled geeks. AV took apart my laptop for the $20 repair estimate. They gave me estimate of $185 plus $50 for rush. Rent-a-Nerd gave estimate of $150 plus $15 for overnight shipping for rush. I asked AV for my computer back. They said it was "scheduled for the next day." They had planned on doing the work the next day. It seems they assume that since you put $20 down, the vast majority have work done there. When I asked for my computer back they repeated that since it (the fix that I was refusing) was scheduled for the next day, it could not be moved up. "Scheduled!!". Put it back together. We aren't proceeding with a business relationship. With a brain you didn't have to take it apart to give an estimate. The other stores didn't. Now you're making me wait 22 hours to put the screws back in my laptop. You don't own it. I'm not asking you to hold it. Also, the person on the phone sound quite dense. Beware.
